An industry standard, this project management software allows you to visually assess your project, organize all the intricate details and effectively communicate every aspect of its life cycle to any audience. With the support of a real-world Project Manager, this hands-on course will benefit anyone who would like to employ today's technology for the intricate projects of tomorrow.

NOTE: The curriculum is compatible with the project management industry standard set by the Project Management Institute (PMI®). Waterloo partners with a project management training provider to offer courses that qualify for PMP Professional Development Units (PDUs). You will receive electronic notes that parallel the course content and serve as an excellent project management resource tool.

MS Project Standard 2016 will be the software used in the course but you can use any of the following versions on your laptop: Standard or Professional versions of 2016 or later; Project Plan 3.

Special Notes

  1. Clients must supply their own laptop and software for this course. (Mac's cannot run cloud-based MS Project software.) You will require 2 monitors for the Virtual Instructor Led version of this course.
  2. The appropriate version of MS Project software (MS Project Standard 2016 or later, MS Project Professional 2016 or later, Project Plan 3) must be installed and configured prior to your arrival for the course.
  3. You can use the 30-day trial version of Project Plan 3, ensure to download and configure this software prior to arrival.
  4. It is the client's responsibility to to ensure their computer is able to run MS Project and their computer is in proper working order because tech support is not available during the course.

May be applied toward the Advanced Project Management Certificate.
