The University of Waterloo is pleased to offer a Primary Care Certificate Program in the Management of Oral Anticoagulation Therapy (MOAT) for pharmacists, registered nurses and nurse practitioners. This non-credit program is offered in partnership with Professional Development, the School of Pharmacy and the Centre for Family Medicine Family Health Team.


Course Overview

This program provides pharmacists, registered nurses and nurse practitioners with the knowledge and skills to effectively and safely manage oral anticoagulation therapy under a medical directive.


This course requires you to attend the Kitchener clinic on 3 separate dates.

This course is entirely online and does not require attending the Kitchener clinic.
