University of Waterloo's online certificate in Technology Entrepreneurship provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to be a successful technology entrepreneur. In the 11-week online course, participants learn methods for the development of innovative, technological products and services and for the establishment of a technology based business. The course curriculum is based on lean startup principles, so participants are ready to pivot when the market requires. In addition, participants in the course refine their business model by connecting with real potential customers and partners and by interacting with their fellow course participants in the course's virtual technology business incubator.
